We are an established Folk Dance Club, affiliated to the English Folk Dance & Song Society (EFDSS), that enjoys English Country, English Court (Playford), American Square and American Contra dances.
Our club nights are held on Wednesday evenings all year, except during July and August, in Burton Overy Village Hall, Rectory End, Burton Overy, Leicestershire, LE8 9EW. Dancing starts at 7.30 pm and continues until 9.30 pm with a short refreshment break for tea or coffee and biscuits midway.
Dances are called by club and visiting callers mostly to recorded music but we do feature live bands several times a year, especially for our special events. We also organise a number of non-dancing social events.
We welcome new dancers and callers, experienced and beginners, and visitors to the area. There is no need to come with a partner as our members will make you feel at home and ensure you are included in the dances, so come and join us for an evening of fun!
